The Mastership Award (MAGD) is the AGD’s highest honor and one of the most respected designations within the profession. To earn this award, Dr. Modjtahedi completed 1,100 hours of dental continuing education. As a 2015 Mastership Award recipient, Dr. Modjtahedi joins more than 2,200 active AGD Masters out of 39,000 general membership who have gone above and beyond the basic requirements to care for their patients’ oral health. The AGD Fellowship Award (FAGD) is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. To earn this prestigious honor, Dr. Modjtahedi completed 500 hours of dental continuing education and passed a comprehensive written exam.
Voted Top Dentist by his peers in Coast magazine from 2008–Present. In 2022, Dr Modjtahedi was voted as the only Top Dentist in Fountain Valley, CA for General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Implant Dentistry. Fellowship in the American College of Dentists is by invitation and is based on a proven, confidential, peer-review system that has remained intact since the inception of the College in 1920. The membership is comprised of dentists who have exemplified excellence through their outstanding leadership and exceptional contribution to dentistry and society. Only about 3.5% of dentists in the United States have been granted Fellowship in the College. Fellows of the American College of Dentists truly are an elite group.
